Vendor Information

The Show Me Gourd Society would like to invite you as artists, gourd farmers, and commercial gourd supplier vendors to join us for the 2024 Show Me Gourd Society Festival at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center, 500 East Elm, Lebanon, MO 65536 from Saturday June 29–30, 2024.

New for 2024, we are inviting artists from many disciplines, such as Fiber, Clay, Wood Workers, Basket Makers, Painters, Leather Workers, Metal Workers, and Multimedia to join our Gourd Artists and participate in the Show-Me Gourd Society Art Festival. You can be a teacher, vendor (supplies or artwork) or both. If your media or technique can apply to Gourd art, in any way, we want you to join us. Your workshop or vendor booth is not required to include gourds. It just needs to be a product or technique that could also be used with or on gourd art. 

Vendor Setup begins Thursday June 27, 2024, 12:30-4:30pm and continues Friday June 28 at 8:00 am. 

Workshops will begin Friday June 28th. The festival is open to the public on Saturday June 29 8:00am-5:30pm and Sunday June 30 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendor booths may be open during this time to workshop students.

This year’s classes and vendors will be juried. Please submit an application and photos (jpg or png format) of what you will teach and/or what is included in your booth. We do want to review your application for applicability to our festival. You will be notified as early as possible so you may resubmit a different class/vendor application.

Important things to know:

• Booth Fee: $80 includes one 10’ x 10’ space with no tables, 2 chairs, and Lebanon City License fee. Any extra booth spaces beyond three (3) will only be $40.00 per 10x10 ft. space!!
• Hours of the festival open to the public: June 29, 2024—Saturday 8:00am until 5:30pm and Sunday June 30, 2024 10:00am until 3:00pm. 
• Vendor set-up is on Thursday June 27 from noon until 3:30pm and Friday June 28 starting at 8:00 am.
• Tables and extra chairs must be preordered: $10.00 per table and $2.00 per chair.
• Electricity is free. You will need to bring your own electrical cords and cover any exposed cords. Please let us know if you plan to use electricity.
• Booth Tables should be skirted.
• This year vendors may represent other art forms, techniques, and supplies beyond gourd art. Artisans will be juried. The Show-Me Gourd Society competition will continue to be gourd art as it's focus.
